At Psychological and Behavioral Consultants, we feel we have the best of both worlds - group practice and independent practice. Each one of us decides how we run our practices. That includes how many clients we see each week, how early or late we work, which clients we see and which insurances we accept.
Fixed rate office rents - no fee splitting. Quarter time (8 hours/week), half time (16 hours/week) and full time space available.
We make collective decisions about how we run our group. We consult about clinical issues at regularly scheduled clinical meetings, as well as informally, as the need arises.
Special interest groups form as the need is identified. We currently have a regularly scheduled meeting for people working with children, and one for people using EMDR.
